"Izuku," Katsuki said, making intense eye contact, ruby irises sparking, "Tonight was...tonight was really fun. And I don't think I can live with myself if I didn't at least try."
Izuku didn't move, didn't breathe. He just stared.
"Everyone has been telling me that I should've done this years ago, but I've just been too much of a pussy to do it. I know our relationship is, well, complicated. That's why I've been scared to tell you."
All Izuku could manage was a weak, "Kacchan?"
"Izuku," Katsuki said, eyes not faltering, "I really hope that this doesn't ruin your birthday, but this is how I feel."
Izuku didn't dare even think of breathing.
“Izuku. I'm in love with—"
The cotton candy booth next to them exploded.

“Son, your mother…” Masaru started, but trailed off. Mitsuki picked up for him.
“I’m pregnant. We’re having another baby.”
He hung up before Mitsuki could finish yelling at him and set his phone on the counter. Then he pressed the heels of his palms into his face and sighed, anxiety building back up. Who the hell had another brat after their first one graduated high school?
Sure, he’d grown and was a different person now, but how could he claim to be good enough to have a little brother when everyone already knew what he’d done? What would make this time different? Was he truly better? Or would another innocent child bring out the worst side of him and prove that he’s always been a monster?OR Mitsuki and Masaru have another baby after Katsuki graduates from U.A., and Izuku (and family) helps him navigate his complicated emotions about being an older brother over the years.
