he realized he had been wrong about not having a soulmate when he began feeling daily, terrible pain. after a process of elimination, techno came to the only conclusion he could: his soulmate was dream, locked away in pandora's vault and something horrible was happening to him.
now he has to figure out how to free dream and navigate his feelings about something he thought he didn't want.
sharing pain with your soulmate was inconvenient for dream, his plans running counterintuitive to it. he's done his best to forget what he knows about his soulmate and the prison has rattled his mind.
but it's impossible to forget when techno shows up, unbidden and ahead of the plan, and there's only one reason why he would.
