As much as I enjoyed the format of the original book, I found myself wanting a more traditional novelization. I've taken matters into my own hands.

“Apologies, Master Shaw,” Flynn huffs out as they walk further inland towards Flynn’s apartments that were so gloriously provided by the Alliance. “I suppose I don’t know how proper nobility trims their whiskers.”
At that, Shaw fixes him with a piercing look. “Luckily for you, I do.”

Summary
After going and saving Fairwind and Shaw from a fate that could have surely been worse, Jaina was far too tired to portal them back to Boralus. And, even then, Fairwind would have had to leave his boat in contested territory.
Although, Shaw wasn’t spared the worst of it, unfortunately. And it seems to be weighing deeply on the captain.
Jaina knows how that feels.

Summary
Shaw gets bespelled with an artifact to look like a Vulpera. Perks of the spell, he can speak the language too, and understand it. He's the perfect double agent.
Until the spell can't be reversed.
Now he's back in Boralus, with a problem: Vulpera aren't supposed to be there. He needs a keeper until Umbric can work out a fix, and that's going to take time. So Shaw's stuck with the charming, but disreputable captain of the Middenwake until that happens.
What could go wrong?
