Summary
I watched as he shuffled around in his seat anxiously while trying to subtly keep an eye on everyone in the room. I couldn’t imagine how uncomfortable it must be to be an omega surrounded by so many alphas and a few betas. Kai Reyes is the next leader for a very prominent pack as she is the only alpha in recent generations. Her grandfather, Tomas Reyes, has given her one condition to be met before he allows her to become the next pack leader. His stipulation for her is that she must find her omega mate before she can lead the pack. Her only problem? She hasn’t been able to find her mate anywhere within Mexico but has been feeling a slight tug on her soul from outside the country. One day she is invited to Wakanda along with her beta older brother, Charlie, to attend a meeting between packs. While in Wakanda she catches hints of a sweet scent and a sweet scent could mean only one thing, an omega. When she finally finds the omega that is the source of the sweet scent she’d been smelling for days she realized one other thing when looking at the male omega, this was her mate.

Summary
Upon Shuri’s return to Wakanda after her much needed vacation in Haiti, she notices some unusual powers. The powers she begins to exhibit are ones that no other Black Panther has had before. During one training session with M’Baku he also notices these unusual powers and asks Shuri how she brought back the Black Panther. After Shuri confesses how she managed to recreate the Heart-Shaped Herb, M’Baku suggests that they call the one person who can help. Shuri reluctantly agrees that she needs Namor’s help controlling her newfound abilities but says they can’t summon him to Wakanda. Shuri and M’Baku travel to a desert island surrounded by the sea, where Shuri blows into the conch that Namor had given her before everything turned upside down. She places the conch in the water then she and M’Baku wait, she doesn’t have to wait for very long because he’ll never make her wait for long. Summary
The Talokanil Trio are in Wakanda for meetings between the two countries to discuss recent world events, update emergency plans, and have their annual cultural information exchange. The second day of meetings are the most stressful by far and Attuma, Namor, Shuri and Okoye find solace in the rest of their partners after a stressful day. One night after one of their parents gets mad at them for something they did, Kai goes to their room and overhears their parents arguing. What they hear their parent say about them sends them climbing out their bedroom window and running through the night. They head to the one place where they know they’ll always be welcome no matter what.

For Valentine’s Day Namor decides to take his girlfriend, Shuri, on a double date to the new club in downtown Talokanda. The other couple is his longtime friend, Attuma and Attuma’s girlfriend, Namora. The club is called The Serpent and is run by Shuri’s friends Okoye and Riri. After only one round of drinks the two couples are getting hot and bothered by each other and the girls’ short dresses aren’t helping. (BPWF, Modern AU)
