Kakashi was confused. He had come to the Training ground seven early morning to ignore his Jounin duty's. Maybe finish re-reading Icha Icha, while laying down. Yet, behind some bushes, in the far corner were 2 people matted with ash and blood caked to just about everything. More surprisingly they were spooning? They just screamed trouble, and Kakashi knew that this would call upon his Jounin responsibility. Kakashi just wants to rest.
Or every time travel fic where Naruto and Gaara cause chaos and protect what’s theirs. While not dealing with the Leafs bullshit. Que traumatic flashback and everyone is so confused. Ugh life is so hard.

The words felt too small. Or maybe the emotions felt too big. Gaara felt overwhelmed by it all so instead he let his hands flit to Naruto's neck as he leaned in and brushed his lips against the other boy's.
It was a quick, gentle thing. Something made of passion but not force. 'I love you, and you don't have to love me back, but I love you.'

The first time it happened, Gaara didn’t even notice.
It was odd but after only a few days Naruto had all but become an extension of himself…even the sand didn’t react to him anymore. Gaara wasn’t sure if that was because Shukaku trusted the other Jinchuriki or because the beast was unwilling to hurt another of its kind.
