    “Fuck it,” Bakugou exhales angrily, more to himself, and then suddenly is leaning over Shouto where he sits, arms by his sides and face close to his. "It doesn't matter what kind of weird mind game you're playing. I'll beat you no matter how much better than me you think you are."

    "When you're not acting out I actually respect you a lot," Shouto corrects mildly. It's said in part because he wishes Bakugou would get over this complex and in part because he's starting to develop a knack for making Bakugou pull the face he's pulling now. "You're really not that bad these days."

    Bakugou blinks furiously, then sags abruptly, expression gone disheartened. "You've lost it. I- what's next? You gonna declare your love for me mid-battle?”

    “I don’t think so, no,” Shouto replies, instinctively, then stills, thinking about it.

    “I’m fucking- going,” Bakugou continues, undeterred and jittery. “Fucking weirdo.”

    He's up and gone in a hurry, casting a last disturbed glance back over his shoulder, and Shouto stays very still, looking blankly at the sky.

    Well, shit.

    He thinks he may have missed a few things while redefining his feelings.

    This is great, I love their characterisations in this and the way their relationship developed. Also the Class 1A dynamics were great, especially Kirishima and Midoriya’s appearances, and I loved that they both still spent time with their own friend groups (with the idea that they would probably merge eventually, of course).

    This is… kind of eerie yes but mostly hilarious and also absolutely peak in its married couple portrayal lmao I love that they mostly just bicker and tick each other off but under that is a rock solid core of affection and trust and respect and kinship.

    Todoroki gets hit with a quirk that makes him sick unless a particular person is touching him. And that particular person just happens to be Bakugou Katsuki.

    This was good… Shouto’s characterisation felt very true to character in a specific way, to a certain interpretation of his character, and I liked it a lot especially because I haven’t seen it done much. Their dynamics felt very true to character too. Also, the descriptions of sickness and suffering and near-fatal experiences were really good, like very vivid and realistic and emotive.
