“You may not have noticed, but Colonel O’Neill is not my biggest fan. You, on the other hand…” The doctor’s smile was easy enough to read. She was hinting openly that Colonel O’Neill had a thing for his second in command.
Sam tried to squelch down that part of her that was proud of being desired by him because the truth was, she wanted him too. Maybe that’s what made it feel so wrong. If she did this, she was damn sure going to enjoy it.

Summary
A routine mission takes an unexpected turn and Sam ends up paying the price. Jack, Daniel, and Teal'c are by her side every step of the way for her recovery, but there is little chance that she will ever be the same. As she tries to move forward and heal as best as she can, they must all learn how to cope and adjust to their new circumstances.
