Summary
Kazuya is the son of Kagome and InuYasha - the great Shikon Miko and her hanyou protector - and thinks he needs to make a legend out of himself, too. While out seeking his adventure, he meets an injured miko, Rikina, and takes her home so his mother can heal her. The two become quite close. But when Rikina is attacked, Kazuya unintentionally performs a forbidden blood bond to save her life, setting events in motion that endanger not only him and Rikina, but the rest of his family as well. He wanted to become a legend of his own, and now he just might get it.
*I wasn't sure how to tag this, but readers should know that Yashahime has little to no bearing on this fic. It's post-Yashahime, Towa and Setsuna are only mentioned in passing, and Moroha makes an appearance or two. That's it. So I can't say this completely ignores Yashahime, only mostly ignores it.
And yes, InuYasha and Kagome are much more prominently featured in this than they were in Yashahime.
