To say Nami is shocked would be an understatement; she had tried so hard to make sure Luffy didn’t bring the bastard up, so she certainly didn’t expect Zoro to do it. Before she can think to filter herself, the truth flies out. “I don’t really know.”

Even after over two years of dating there was still a little flutter that went through his stomach every time he heard Marco say those words to him. It was like even after all this time he still couldn't quite believe that of all the people he could want Marco wanted him, the boring bartender trying to raise his little brother. Him who was the son of the city's most notorious and dangerous criminal and the adopted grandson of an asshole cop with a vendetta against Marco and his entire family.
Somedays he really did wonder if he had actually woken up in that hospital or if he was in a coma and this was all a dream. Somedays that seemed more realistic than the idea that anyone could actually love him.
