Summary
Hunter is sent to go on a mission with coven head Raine Whispers. Belos does not trust Hunter to be able to complete a mission after failing his last one, therefore he has sent Whispers to accompany him. Whispers was a very shy person, as Hunter had seen when seeing them interact with the other coven heads. Titan, they would eat them alive.
Does their mission go as hoped or will it end in disaster. Why does Whispers seem so concerned about Hunter? What was he doing.This story is set around Hunter's encounter with Luz and Raine becoming coven head for the bard coven.

“Halt! For crimes against the Emperor-”
“Hunter!”
A pool of golden light started from below his chest, enveloping the array before anyone had time to react. The three rebels, as if roused from a trance, leapt back, but the spell had already touched them. He couldn’t see anything beyond the gold... that vanished just as quickly as it appeared a second later. Hunter was left lying on the bare cobblestone, alone, with a stained breastplate and a quickly developing headache.The CATTs want to invade the Emperor's mind. Hunter wants to bust them and earn his Uncle's approval. Luz wants to interview Hunter to get proof Belos is evil. Things don't quite go according to plan for any of them, and now Luz and three rebels are stuck in the wrong mindscape. But determined to make the best of the situation, they decide to look through the Golden Guard's memories for information on the Day of Unity. They find more than they bargained for.

Summary
She startles awake to the sound of Hooty yelling, abruptly sucking her out of the half-asleep state she had been in. She grabs her glyphs on instinct, one of the stacks of paper she leaves around her room for easy access.
When she finds Hooty, he has the door wide open and the body of a teenage boy slumped against the doorframe. A boy who is swathed in red from blood and grasping onto his staff like it’s the only thing keeping him from face planting.
And as Luz walks closer, the light of the moon catches on platinum blonde hair and she suddenly realizes that it’s The Golden Guard in the doorway.
Or, Hunter, his Palisman, and the wild witches who took him in.

Summary
With the Day of Unity right around the corner, everyone steps into high gear in order to defeat Philip. Eda just has to deal with mental invasions, half her relationships being pulled tense for varying reasons, more kids than she knows what to do with, being targeted by the Emperor for the stupidest reasons, the fragile new relationship with her curse, the lonely child god hiding under the castle, and averting the genocide of her entire species.
She's totally got this.

In which Raine meets Hunter years before canon, and decides that a kid like him could use all the help he could get with an uncle like Belos. Even if they couldn't go much, they could try something, couldn't they?
Years down the line, Raine is exposed as a traitor to the Emperor's Coven, and they are bound by the brand on their own wrist. Hunter notices. And as to be expected, he has more than a few complaints.
It's not a big surprise on who he goes to for help.

Summary
When Eda Clawthorne finally trudged her way through the Owl House’s front door, her plans for the afternoon were simply to down a glass of apple blood, make herself lunch, and see how long she could nap before King or Luz inevitably needed her help with some quirky misadventure. Those plans most certainly did not include Hooty depositing a half-dead, very familiar teenager on the couch right as she’d been about to start on frying up something for lunch.
“Holy Titan,” she cursed, taking in the injuries that littered the Golden Guard’s prone form and the little cracked palisman in his hand. “What in the world happened?”
For the moment, at least, it seemed like lunch would have to wait.
(Or the one in which Hunter gets accidentally adopted and re-evaluates his entire life, Eda acquires a new kid and also definitely isn’t still crushing on Raine Whispers, Luz struggles with bard magic and teaches Hunter about pancakes, King is adorable as always, and Hooty is… well, Hooty is Hooty. Featuring loads of found family content, a healthy serving of angst, old and young gays being totally in love, and- best of all- a stuffed shark named Claude.)

Super sweet. Well paced, nice to have little stories like them playing Uno in it, and I don’t feel like any of the characters are very mischaracterised which is also great. I definitely recommend.
