This fic is an alternate version of my fic Send You Straight Back into the Night
They are identical until chapter 6 where they take VERY different paths.
This version contains multiple (temporary) main character deaths, the other version does not.Update April 20, 2026: I swear this isn't abandoned, these past few months have just been rouuugh. I don't have a timeline for when it'll be finished but it WILL be completed (hopefully in the next 2-3 months)

Summary
After Yukiko was rescued from the TV World she decided it was time for a change! She would become stronger and learn to stand on her own two feet. She would make some new friends so she wouldn't have to put so much pressure on her best friend. Still, she was glad Chie was by her side for this harrowing new adventure... even if she was acting a little differently after rescuing Yukiko...
This is a fic that explores little moments that sit in the margins of canon, particularly around Chie and Yukiko's relationship, and with a Chie who is a little more aware of herself and her feelings after saving Yukiko.
