Summary
Six times Olruggio forgot and one time he remembered.
Qifrey erases Olruggio's memory after accidentally confessing his love, and soon comes to realize that he can't stop.
"Olly."
"Why do you say my name like that?"
"Like what?"
He's not sure when they started whispering. It feels as if something will break should either of them speak above a certain volume. Qifrey should stop this here. He should know better. But temptation is a powerful thing and Qifrey's inhibitions go away when he's drunk.
"Like you mean somethin' else." Olruggio's fingers, cold from the wine glass, find Qifrey's wrist. It's a gentle touch, one that doesn't impede Qifrey's ability to draw circles against Olruggio's leg, but one that makes him lose focus. His thumb presses against Qifrey's pulse point, a soft reminder of something lost.
"Perhaps I do."

Summary

"Are you a merman, then?" He asked again, bringing the previous topic back. Meanwhile, he continued to undress in front of Olruggio, who was finding it increasingly more hard to divert his eyes from the motion when the man did it so elegantly.
Trying his best, he slowly took his eyes off the man's hands, bringing them back to his face. To his surprise, however, Olruggio found he was already being watched attentively.
"Even if I was, I wouldn't tell you. That kind of defeats the purpose of the whole masquerade ball thing," Olruggio offered, trying not to show how the idea of the man figuring out who he was bothered him.
