“Shhh baby it’s okay, you’re okay.” He coos, face furrowed with sympathy as he kisses her tear-stained cheeks.

Summary
This is my little family I have created. The family includes Shane, Ilya, Lena (youngest daughter), and Nikolai (oldest son). They used a surrogate for both kids, both used with Shane’s. Essentially Ilya wanted to have two Shane’s as his babies which he did get. Even tho Lena is a carbon copy of Ilya’s personality. I love them bad.
•Nikolai Hollander-Rozanov: Born October 18th 2023.
•Lena Hollander-Rozanov: Born April 16th 2025.These are all stand alones some of them overlap each other but I will let you guys know in the notes if that’s the case. I love writing Shane and Ilya as parents. And I love my original characters I’ve made. I hope you all enjoy. I will add more descriptions here as I go but!

The first sound Ilya hears is a thin, discordant symphony of beeps and whirs. Something vibrating.
The next thing he hears is…wet. A sort of shaking, gargling sound, that feels like the ugliest crying he’s ever heard. And through it, Shane’s voice.
“I’m with him now, mom. He’s— he’s not fine. He’s not. I know—”
Ilya wants to ask who's not fine, but he can’t feel his own body, his mouth, enough to ask.
“Yeah,” Shane is saying, only slightly calmer. “I know. He wasn’t breathing—"
Ilya knows there's a link, between the clinical musicality of medical settings, Shane’s audible, awful distress, and his own physical incapacity. It’s just, it’s so tenuous, and the air around him is so thick, so heavy. It would be easy, to sleep, a little.

The Russian pet name set a firework off inside Shane's mind as he heard it cooed from behind him. The intonation was just as he remembered, but the voice was much deeper.He turned and felt himself short circuit. It took every ounce of willpower to not let his jaw drop cartoonishly to the floor. Shane would recognize his individual features anywhere, even after 5 years. But it was as if someone had snapped their fingers and the smug, silly Russian boy who had been attached to Shane's hip for 3 summers was transformed into some sort of fucking Adonis right before his eyes.
