The Mourn Watch understood the gravity of these rifts, many of the same tears also appearing within the halls of the Grand Necropolis, disturbing the resident spirits. Even poor Manfred had turned restless!
Thus, when a letter arrived, penned in the elegant script of the Inquisition’s ambassador, requesting for a teacher, what else was Emmrich to do but jump at the chance to examine the mark up close? To learn from her as much as she would learn from him?
