Summary
A soft undoing.
Under the cover of a bleeding sunset, one healer has turned into a vampire; fleeing his home and condemning himself as a monster. He wishes to hide away forever; fighting a new host of instincts that tell him to harm those he loves. However, he cannot go peacefully.
For his best friend is persistent and above all else, stubborn.
She will not let him waste away on his own.
Though throughout a journey of repentance and self-loathing, she comes to find that taking care of another soul can push you far past your limits.
But the road ahead can be so full of tender fleeting moments, it may be worth the cost of ruination.
Perhaps there is no saving either of them, and perhaps that is ok.

However, unbeknownst to the land, darkness rests on the horizon, eclipsing the sun that could bring rise to a new dawn. Eight souls brought together by varying goals and ambitions embark on a journey across the land to fulfill separate missions, finding themselves bound by something far stronger than they ever could have anticipated. Ophilia Clement travels on a religious pilgrimage to fulfill her duty. Cyrus Albright searches for something long lost. Tressa Colzione seeks a treasure she can take pride in. Olberic Eisenberg wanders in need of a missing purpose. Primrose Azelhart tracks her foes in a merciless quest for revenge. Alfyn Greengrass yearns to aid those in need. Therion attempts to find missing items for his own gain. H'aanit desires the return of a soul dear to her heart. Held as one by fate itself, eight intertwined hearts travel through Orsterra, unaware of what destiny has in store for them.
For light. For truth. For treasure. For redemption. For revenge. For succor. For freedom. For master.
