Summary
Pepa sobers up. She locks eyes with Eddie, still gripping Buck’s bicep in camaraderie. She seems to ponder something for a beat. Then: “Cásate con este hombre, o lo haré yo,” she declares, with all the subtlety of a rampaging buffalo.
Eddie flounders, his mind screeching to a grinding halt. He wishes with all his might that Buck’s two years of mandatory high school Spanish aren’t in any way useful to him anymore. They’ve barely been here ten minutes, and Pepa’s already pulled out the big guns. Seriously, she wastes no time.

Summary
Collars.
They’re wearing collars.
Ones with tiny bells and dainty charms that shift with every tilt of the head. Ones that come in soft, pastel colours like mint green and baby pink.
Pretty.
That’s the first, unfiltered thought that runs through his mind.
The second is fuck because he’s—
He’s at work.
He’s at work and he’s been staring way too long at a group of humans dressed like cats.
Or: Eddie discovers pet play. It spirals from there.

Summary
Eddie’s head tilts down, just enough to be obvious, taking a look at Buck’s ensemble. That little voice in the back of his brain is screaming, He’s checking you out! But Buck chooses to ignore it, he’s not going to get his hopes up just yet.
“Place is gorgeous, isn’t it?” Eddie says, stuffing his hands into his pocket as he turns to face the room.
Eddie doesn’t even know it’s him. The feeling of knowing he can be anyone he wants, fills his body with heat. Confidence starts surging through his veins like wildfire.

Summary
So yeah, its not like Chris doesn’t know that a lot of people think Buck and his dad have something there. But the opinions of strangers and jealous boyfriends is very different to that of their two closest friends. He’d always assumed that if any of those assumptions had even an inkling of truth that his dad and Buck would have acted on their feelings by now. It’s been nine years for heck’s sake!
To think that there not only might be some truth to it, but also that he was the main reason they haven’t done anything about it makes Chris feel… well he’s not quite sure what it makes him feel, but it sure isn’t good.
Chris’s crutches clack softly on the floor as he paces, mind reeling with half-baked thoughts, unsure which emotion he should focus on right now. He settles on determined.
If he is the reason his dad and Buck are not together, he can fix that. Yeah, he can totally fix that… he just might need some help

Summary
“Have you seen the guy Buck's seeing right now?” Hen asked quietly where she sat in the lounge with Chim. They were playing cards, placing bets since it'd been ridiculously slow all day and no one wanted to actually mention it and jinx them.
“Why would I have seen any guy Buck's been seeing?” Chim asked, throwing a card down.
“I just thought you might find it interesting.”
He looked at her with narrowed eyes. “And why exactly would I find Buck's love life interesting?”
“I don't know,” she said with a shrug. “Maybe because this new guy looks an awful lot like someone we know.”
or
Buck and Eddie basically help raise each others kids. Then Buck starts seeing someone. Kind of secretly. Someone that looks an awful lot like Eddie.
