Summary
Phillip Graves is one of the most powerful fae soldiers as the Commander of Shadow Company. With his Southern charm and his (mostly) gentlemanly behavior, Caroline views him as nothing but trouble when she first meets him in the medical wing on base, her hands healing one of his injured Shadow soldiers.
After that first meeting, Caroline hopes things will return to normal. Instead, Graves shows more interest than she understands. It all comes to a head in the pouring rain on a dark night as Caroline watches Graves shove Alejandro against the side of a Humvee, Ghost moving in front of her as a shield against the fae male who Caroline had grown to trust.
It changes everything when Graves catches sight of her in the midst of his betrayal, and says, "You're my mate."

In which Sakura is living with both Naruto and Sasuke in the Hokage mansion, and comes to the realization that if she doesn't move out soon, she'll likely bash their heads in. Which might be slightly problematic, since killing the Hokage is punishable by death.
And Shikamaru, as the Hokage's advisor, is being dragged into the mess and just wishes he was born a cloud.
