Summary
It’s Arthur’s birthday, and the feast went *very* well, but the Prince Regent seemed to have drunk A BIT more than what was advisable and got a little confused as to how trousers worked – as in, they can not, in fact, be removed while wearing boots. Luckily for him (but not for Merlin), he can count on his (not) sober manservant to help handle the problem.
He should not, however, have expected the assistance not to create more problems to be solved.

It's shameless smut, yes. But, your honour, Canon gave me wandering drunk-ish Arthur losing his trousers after his birthday feast, how could I NOT take such a scene and write a 10k smut parenthesis on it? This is basically self-defense, right?

Just a few days ago my son came to me to tell me of a young man with mate’s blood having entered the citadel to work for one of my counselors. I was disbelieving of it until I saw the boy for myself. I can only see this as a gift from the Lord for our kingdom, a boy with the blood of a mate and the heart of a knight, he might not be a noble, but he has proved himself as good as. For the reason, I reward him by giving him to my son to be his mate, bride, and consort! May this union bless Camelot for years to come.”
Merlin frowned, trying to make sense of anything that the king had just said. What was going on?
The prince wrapped his arms around Merlin’s chest and pulled him in against his front. He writhed a bit to get away from the prince’s grasp but he held him tight, leaning in against Merlin’s throat as he did and nipping at him under his chin.
“Did you hear that, Merlin? Father says you’re mine now. Don’t worry, I’ll make it very worthwhile for you. We’ll begin as soon as I get you back to my chambers.”

Inspired by those insane Alpha x Alpha fics on tiktok where both merlin and Arthur r extremely masculine. (Post by r7r3o) Found out there were no fics like that so I decided to write one myself. Enjoy! (Merlin is sooo hot n horny in this one. Also a bit of my fav Gwaine thrown in.)

Summary
Merlin’s mother had made it very clear to him what he should do when she sent him off to Camelot. Merlin wasn’t to tell anyone he had magic, his mother was scared that he would be collared to keep him in line if someone found out. Yet, Camelot was, above all, one of the best places for an alpha warlock to be. In Essitir, the omega king would drag alphas off to his palace once they were old enough, claim them, and use them for their powers. It was a fate that Merlin’s mother had feared him facing since he presented at twelve summers old. It was why, on the eve of his eighteenth summer, she sent him away to the bordering kingdom before Cenred’s men could show up in Elador to take him away. In Camelot Merlin could have a future.
It was a more hopeful future than what he would have in any other kingdom.
Other than Essitir and Camelot, all other kingdoms executed alphas who had magic, mated or not, too afraid of what they could do. Camelot had done the same, once, but that had changed when the Queen had fallen for an alpha sorceress and had taken her as her mate, changing the law to allow mated magical alphas to live in peace.
All Merlin had to do was catch an omega....
