Summary
Joel spills the entire story front to back. When he’s all done, Grian thinks for a beat, squinting out into their messy kitchen.
“Right, but how exactly does any of that lead to you jerking Scott Smajor off in Scar’s bathroom?”
Joel buries his head in his arms.
OR
Despite the best effort of his friends, Joel's boring, miserable summer is on track to become a boring, miserable life. Just when he's starting to make his peace with it, he ends up face to face with his blue-haired nemesis in a house party bathroom.
Things don't stay boring for long.

Summary
Looking in at another universe obsessively like this, it’s a bad habit — a peek of something he can’t have, another painful tug on his heart, another pointless reminder that he’s ruined everything. Irreparably. Forever. Five times over. But he keeps looking.
Grian’s been torturing himself with this every night, anyway, what’s one more snoop?
OR
On Hermitcraft, there's a different version of Grian, perfectly happy with his Scar. Somehow, in the middle of Secret Life, Grian manages to wake up in his body.

Summary
It’s a nice day for a hunt, Scar thinks.
A nice day, indeed, especially as a certain god comes visiting once more.
Scar is only too happy to give offerings to his god; he would do anything the god of feast asks him to, anything for Grian.
Anything at all.
