Summary
During what was supposed to be the Easiest Case Ever, Cheng Xiaoshi makes what was supposed to be a teeny tiny mistake.
The results were disastrous. Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang find themselves body-swapped in the present day, with no clear way to switch back.
Lu Guang takes it upon himself to figure this out and fix everything. Meanwhile, the entire situation makes Cheng Xiaoshi think about how he feels about being in Lu Guang's physical form, which leads to questioning how he feels about Lu Guang at all.
Soon, it becomes clear that it isn't just bodies they're swapping. Their hidden fears and insecurities start to unravel within their dreams.

What a wonderful gift, people cooed. What an amazing blessing! they praised. Just who was this watchmaker? Who was this strange, quiet man who never gave away so much as his name? Who was this man who had guided so many souls to their one true partner? Did he have a soulmate of his own? No one knew.
