With no support, his brother gone, lonely and afraid, Louis decided to end his own life as well. The attempt failed, and he lost his mind. With his heart and mind shattered, furious at the whole world and hating himself, Louis resolved to live exactly as he pleased — even if it meant doing terrible things. He had nothing left to lose. He wanted to challenge the world and finally take what he wanted.

Summary
This series will feature stand-alone short stories mostly from Lestat’s POV. It will cover parts of Loustat’s courtship, the unholy family era, what Lestat was up to after Mardi Gras leading up to the Paris trial, post-trial up to the San Francisco interview, and up to the Dubai interview.
The timeline may jump around a bit, but each piece is connected through Lestat’s reflections, regrets, and hopes. You won’t need to read them in order to follow his emotional journey, and he’s got a lot to learn.
This is the same Loustat from A Capacity To Endure reunion fic.
