Summary
“Is that really wise? The omnipotent Hei Pao Shi, stuff of nightmares and legend, taking a mortal lover? Especially a defenseless, naïve, principled professor? Have you considered the risk to him? You have no natural weaknesses – but your attention makes him one. It makes him a target.”
Or: Zhao Yunlan comes to a unique conclusion while trying to puzzle out the relationship between Shen Wei and the Envoy.

Domestique WeiLan.
This 5+1 chronicles their mutal exploration in home-making, home living, and finding the many different ways to love each other and themselves through their differences.
Through it all, though, there is one constant theme: ZYL would like to be railed by SW anytime, any day, any place, and SW would like to oblige, passionately.

Summary
Guo Changcheng is very confused about how he ended up here.
Admittedly, Guo Changcheng is confused on a daily basis, and this state of things didn’t change much after he had joined Captain Zhao’s crew. If asked, Guo Changcheng would even (in a surprising bout of honesty and courage) say that his confusion intensified in frequency after he had been first put on the The Lord Guardian.*
Guo Chancheng lands on a ghost ship and fights for his life while the mysterious captain of The Ghost Slayer asks him some pointed questions about Captain Zhao. Chu Shuzhi is distractingly handsome in the backgroundBookmarked by OstwickanCheeses

You've heard Davy Jones? Well, get ready for Shen Wei, irrationally jealous eldritch of the high seas.
While he might fish unsuspecting castaways out of deep waters and into a warm cabins, just don't tell him that his lifelong rival, Captain Zhao of the Lord Guardian, stows a mermaid lover deep within his heart.
(Bcs that's how you get thrown back into shark infested waters)

Summary
He’s not unfamiliar with students’ parents trying to matchmake. He’s not even unfamiliar, sadly, with students’ parents trying to match him with the student in question. He is, however, unfamiliar with being the target of the much-beloved daughter of the University’s chancellor. When he tells his department head, the response he gets is: “Be ready to marry whoever she proposes.”
Casting around frantically, fearfully, for the best response that is absolutely not I will be happy to court your daughter, he settles on the truth not as it is, but the truth as he wishes it were.
“I’m sorry,” he tells the lovely woman in the twinset and pearls, over tea in the university’s upscale faculty club. “I already have a boyfriend.”

Summary
Shen Wei wakes up after ten thousand years and is decidedly not happy with the state he finds Dixing in. He's angry, he's grieving for what he's lost and he feels responsible for everything that went wrong when he was buried underground.
While searching for the stolen hallows, he sees a face he thought he'd never see again
***
A canon divergence AU in which Shen Wei is very unhappy with the state of Dixing and with its relations with Haixing after waking up, does a little coup d'etat, and consequently assumes a more political role, which leaves him with no time for pursuing an academic careerBookmarked by OstwickanCheeses

Bookmarker's Notes
AU in which Shen Wei wakes up in present day Dragon City, accidentally stages a coup, inspires a new generation of Dixingren, and navigates the complexities of Dixing-Haixing politics without the safety net of learned acceptance.
Tl;dr everyone is prejudiced in this and Shen Wei's Kunlun is not who he was/is/used to be. (Hint: It's some hot Haixing detective named Zhao Yunlan instead)
