Summary
Joong knows he’s too much for some. That his constant need for attention and touch can be too much for some. Even Dunk had trouble getting used to it at first. Khaotung and First are private people. He wasn’t sure how they would feel about him. So far, they have welcomed him with open arms, every time. It’s just this: When First and Khaotung kiss at the karaoke, they kiss each other. When they eventually go home, they go together. And Joong watches them leave.

Khaotung has been dating them for several years; they’d met in the same faculty and hit it off well enough. He’s smitten with them, First can tell. So he stays out of their way as much as possible.
He still resents when Khaotung posts photos disguised as lovestagrams with First when they’re secretly with them. And he hates how, sometimes, trips that seem like they are supposed to be just the two of them always end up actually being the three. Or even four if they bring their own friend along. First is pretty sure they are trying to turn it into a double date.
Honestly, he hates that more than when he’s forced to feel like a third wheel. It either implies that he isn’t interested in someone… or that they feel a sort of pity for him. First smiles and laughs along; it is easy to act for Khaotung, who might be his best friend but is also blinded by his familiarity.
For an outsider looking in though…
Well…
Maybe they see that he is smitten with Khaotung too.

“You’re a handful,” he uttered. “How did you survive as a stray all this time, na?”
He carded his fingers through the fringe of hair peeking from the cap and found it starting to become damp and tacky with sweat. His hand followed the motion naturally and swept away the hat. Two orange cat ears, the fur slightly squashed and messy from perspiration and, presumably, being pinned down, sprang into the open air. They drooped slightly, as though the tips were weighted down.
Tiger stared at them for a long time, brain still scrambling to comprehend their existence. Were they elaborate animatronics or costume dressing?

Summary
To be honest, it had been a measured stupidity, as calculated and considered as much as Ray could possibly do so in his swiftly deteriorating state when he appeared on Sand’s doorstep. His cycle was always erratic, likely caused by his pickled reproductive organs but he felt sure that the likelihood of anything more than amazing sex coming out of this was slim to none.
