That isn't surprising at all, their bond is, quite famously, very strong, everyone knows about it. Roger Federer using Spanish courting traditions isn't anything that would go unnoticed, mainly because Spaniards tended to be very… loud when courting, which is completely different from what the swizzes tended to go for. It was surely hilarious, seeing the great and mighty Roger Federer stumbling with words while giving a huge bouquet of flowers to Rafa. Carlos wasn't there of course, that happened in 2011, but he is sure it must have been hilarious, even if all people did back them was criticize them.
