Summary
The sounds of whispers and the shuffling of feet filled the cathedral hall. Harrow, standing at the entrance, felt fairly sure she wasn’t doing this whole funeral thing correctly. Harrow could tell the people around her were disappointed by her lack of emotion. What they wanted was a spectacle, something to talk about in their social circles for days to come. A distraught daughter throwing herself at the foot of the altar where the coffins of her parents now lay would've done the trick. Instead, she sat in her pew, looking straight ahead.
