Barbara knows what’s happening before most people do. It’s her job. More than that, it’s her responsibility. She finds the things that need to be found to protect the people that need to be protected. For every crime she’d stopped as Batgirl, she manages a hundred more as Oracle. Knowledge is power, and there are very few people more powerful than her.
Right now, though, she’s weak.

Summary
A week later, Alicent received another raven. The note attached was small, and contained only a single line of familiar script.
I cannot forget, nor do I wish to.
After everything they had exchanged over the years—a youth of whispers and laughter, staggered conflict over decades, recent weeks of written correspondence—it only took eight words to thoroughly dismantle Alicent.
The note itself appeared no different than the ones before it, but there was no doubt this was the Rhaenyra she knew, and each word reverberated in the depths of Alicent’s bones, like a sept’s mournful echo.
or, Rhaenyra sets Alicent free, but they both struggle to let go. Post-3x06.

the black-ops company alicent joins is called The Company, and The Company doesn’t give her much— just the things they've deemed to be important. a plane ticket. an address for her new home. a partner she'll have a sham marriage with.
apparently, they didn't deem it necessary to mention that said partner is a woman.
