Summary
After losing more resources and his men in Laslea, with a new unknown Vrakhir rising in Brencis’ crew, Sara had the splendid idea to just drink their sorrows away. Forget their pain and failures for just a day. Marat agreed, only so his remaining men could unwind, before starting anew.
What he did not expect on that same day was to fall over heels for a monster he was expecting to kill.

Summary
Ambrus glowers up at him from the bed. “I’m bored.”
“We could fight to the death again, if you’d like.”
Ambrus scoffs, raising his chin haughtily, looking down the perfectly pointing edge of his nose. “Maybe we should. You cheated the first time.”
“I was bettering my odds.”
“By acting like a coward?”
Despite himself, Coen’s mouth twitches up just slightly. “Take it as a compliment to your strengths.”
Ambrus pauses at this, his lips pursed as if he were truly considering it.
(Or, Ambrus joins Coen as more than just a helpful voice in his head.)

Summary
uhm.... I will update the tags as I go along. Probably the summary, too.
What if Coen spares Ambrus, despite knowing better? Despite Ambrus doing nothing to make that decision any easier? What if that choice ends up threatening to overturn Ambrus' entire existence more thoroughly than the vrakhir transformation ever did? What if he gets eaten up by anger, indignity, helplessness... and something so much worse?
And what happens to Coen, already buckling under his family, his valley, and a war he never wanted to be a part of, when this unbidden thing between them refuses to stay simple?
I tried to stay true to Ambrus' game characterisation and not soften him just for the sake of romance. Fair warning: this gets messy. Lots of deflection, lots of Ambrus making it harder than it has to be. It gets worse before it gets better.

Summary
In a better world, Coen of Laslea could resist the call of the blood, and stand up to his sire. Even if it was a futile attempt that would doom most any man, Vrakhir or human. This is not such a kind world though, and the scouring of Laslea gains another victim, just as Knyaz Brencis gains another son.

Summary
Two years after her father’s death, Violet Sorrengail enters the Riders Quadrant with more knowledge than she should have, far less training than she needs, and a locked journal full of secrets she can barely begin to understand. Fresh off a breakup with the heir to Navarre, she isn’t looking for complications, but nothing prepares her for Xaden Riorson, or the dangerous ease they fall into with each other.
When her power manifests early and pulls her into Xaden’s dreams, Violet sees something she was never meant to: a wardstone, forbidden runes, and proof that her father’s work may be closer, and more dangerous, than she ever imagined.
Or: Violet manifests her dream-walking signet early, walks into one of Xaden’s dreams, and makes everyone’s lives significantly more complicated.
