However, in a train compartment one morning Noctis remembers its Ignis' birthday today and cannot get over the fact he dosen't have a birthday gift for his beloved. Asking Ignis to stay behind when Gladio leaves the train compartment that morning Noctis tries to express his thoughts on the matter and Ignis knows just what to say as always.

Illuga sits there for a moment trying to think. "...Are they the carriers?"
" No. " Lauma takes his hand and squeezes it. "Unrequited love. Hanahaki is caused by unrequited love. Most often, unrequited love for one of those kinds of beings."

Summary
Illuga is in pain; this Flins knows for certain. He can feel it in the way Illuga's fingers grasp onto the edges of his capelet, crushing the fabric tight enough that it will surely leave creases. It's obvious in the way his muscles tremble under his hands, shivers building from the base of his spine and shaking out of him with every sob. It's selfish of Flins to take advantage of their closeness, but he does; he cannot resist the urge any longer.
Flins is soft for Illuga, he can't deny it, doesn't want to deny it. He'd do anything within his power to ensure that his young Master is happy, even if those incomprehensible human emotions make fulfilling his unspoken promise a more complicated task than he expected.

Summary
The age of the fae is slowly coming to an end in Sneznhnaya and Lord Kyrill had accepted this long ago. He already has plans for a quiet departure from both the court and his life, as he attends one last ball to say goodbye to it all. However, his plans fall apart completely when the other fae drag him to a secret auction with a prize rivaling anything they'd ever seen during the Belyi-Tsar's reign.
It's a living human being. The Lightkeeper from Nod-Krai had been dragged away from a battle and is now at the mercy of a pack of bloodthirsty fae. There's only one of them capable saving him, but will Lord Kyrill give up his wish of a quiet end just to guide one last soul home?TLDR: Lord Kyrill buys a feisty human on the fae market. He vows to take him back to Nod-Krai like a gentleman, definitely not intending to fall in love in the process. Will his mission fail? Hmm, if only there was a weekly-updating series that could answer that question!

Columbina tilts her head. “Has it had any physical effects? Please indulge my lack of sight.”
Illuga frowns. “I don’t have any scars from the Hunter now, if that’s what you mean,” he says. “It’s as if I’d never been attacked in the first place.”
Aether’s hand hesitantly lands on Illuga’s shoulder. “I didn’t want to stress you out more until we could talk to Columbina, but now that we’re here, you should probably look at your reflection,” he says quietly, carefully.
His body stiffens in an instant, and that feeling of ,wrong, wrong, wrong hits him again full force. He steps out from under Aether’s touch and staggers on autopilot toward the closest pool of water. Illuga crouches down at the edge, pushing his fingers into his hair for some sort of grounding as he leans forward, lantern knocking against his thigh. He catches sight of his reflection, and his world tilts on its axis.
Illuga comes back from the dead less human and more fae than before.
