Astarion opens his eyes to the sound of a frantic man's voice. What he sees, however, are three colorful creatures, all staring directly at him. He gives an involuntary shriek and tries to drag himself away, succeeding mostly in getting sand all over himself.
"Oh, you're alive! Good, good, no need to panic, young man. These three are quite tame, if a bit rambunctious." Astarion's eyes shoot up to the man standing behind the three creatures. He's a short, round fellow, wearing what looks like a purple knit hat and a white coat. He has a bit of stubble, and smiles in a way that's actually warm. It puts Astarion on edge immediately. "You fell quite a ways, you know! From one of those dark rifts in the sky. Quite lucky that you survived the fall. Are you alright?"
