Summary
Arthur Pendragon, Crown Prince of Camelot, must marry. King Uther expects him to choose a high-ranking noble, preferably a lady, from amongst the Camelot ton. But as fate would have it, the Prince finds himself drawn to Mr Merlin Emrys, an obscure gentleman from the countryside. Merlin, impoverished and desperate to save his family from complete ruin, must marry, too. Feelings are secondary, for the match must be an advantageous one. Soon, both Arthur and Merlin are caught between the pressure of expectations and what their hearts truly desire…

Summary
The next time Arthur doesn’t say thank you, Gwaine puts his hand on Merlin’s back, stroking down the long length of it, from the short curls of hair at the nape of his neck to the neat cinch of his waist.
“Thanks,” he praises, throwing a wink to an agape Arthur as he does. It’s wonderful.
So wonderful, in fact, that for the next fortnight, for every brusque word that spills from Arthur’s lips, Gwaine spills three sweet ones.

Summary
“Forget I said anything,” Merlin tried, failing to smother his snickering. He lowered his eyes to the ground, and bit down on his grin even as his shoulders shook with laughter. Neither of them was fooled. “Of course you’re not jealous. Why would you be? Just because Ser Erden is so very charming—”
“He is not—”
“And chivalrous—"
“I bet he beats his servants,” Arthur insisted, with no proof or reason. “And his dogs.”
“And handsome—”
“Handsome?!” Arthur shouted, so loud that it boomed in Merlin’s ears. He jerked his head up in surprise. Dark spots of red had bloomed across Arthur’s cheeks, flush and furious. “He is not! He’s—shut up, Merlin!”

Merlin’s days and evenings blur together into one long, overheated, mess. He is tired.
Which is why it is perfectly understandable that he got confused.

Summary
Several years after Camlann magic has returned to Camelot, but Merlin and Arthur are perhaps unhappier than ever before. Merlin has been sick, really sick, and Arthur doesn't know how to help him. Merlin on the other hand tries to push everyone away. Eaten up by guilt because Arthur still does not know about his magic. His illness is a welcome excuse to keep his distance.
They're having a miserable time of it until Arthur and Gwen decide that they cannot go on as they are and that Merlin and Lancelot deserve the truth.
