Summary
The Lans agree to take in the Dafan Wen after Wei Wuxian rescues them from Qiongli Path. Their only condition: that Wei Wuxian lets himself be purified of resentful energy. Lan Wangji thinks this is how he will finally get his Wei Ying back, free from demonic influences. Wei Wuxian thinks this is a fancy way of saying "execution."

They’re carefully blank, like Stiles is afraid to show any kind of emotion. Derek tries to fight the lump in his throat at the realisation that even the blankest of looks from this kid means more to him than the thought of pack right now.

Summary
Stiles hasn't been doing so hot, but he's trying. He even goes for a change of scenery at the suggestion of his therapist, thinking that maybe being at the beach will give him the incentive to actually go outside.
But all that work goes right down the drain when he falls down the stairs and dies the lamest of lame deaths. It gets worse when he realizes that the only person who can see and hear him is also dead... And even worse than that when his new housemate turns out to be an angry, socially inept jerkwad.

Stiles goes on vacation to get his head on straight, but ends up dead with an asshole for a ghostly housemate.

Once in a while you come across a fic that truly means something. This one helped me start my own recovery from depression, rarely have I ever read something that resonated more with my own life. This is a beautiful piece of work, and I am thankful that it exists.
