Summary
Choso is a regular 17 year old who is juggling house chores, two jobs, four lovely brothers, and a Mahito. He promised himself it was the last time he is risking his safety for this nuisance of a friend he has been cursed with, but deep down knew that it was already 5th time he promised himself that, and that there will definitely be a 6th and 7th too.
He managed to convince himself that it wasn't that big of a deal, he was being careful, he will get Mahito out of the mess he got himself into, and that will be the end of it. How hard could it be? Even if the people Mahito messed with will try to come after him again, they will go after Mahito, not him or his brothers.
If he thinks about it this way then there was no risk at all in going to the mansion on the outskirts of the city, to help his friend escape from the heir of the biggest electronic company in Japan. And yet somehow, said heir decided to become yet another curse plaguing Choso's life.

Summary
Hal is kind enough to buy the two of them a six-pack to share, once night falls. He’s hopped up on being right about the alien, despite the damage to the town, and he wants to celebrate, so he tells John to stop when they pass a little corner store and then spends ten minutes doing God knows what inside before emerging, victorious, with a cheeky grin and a large brown paper bag.
Hal is not kind enough to pay for their hotel room.

“No, you’re not," Hal concedes, no fight to it. "Turns out you’re easy, and you don’t mind them older. If I’d known I would've made a move ages ago.”
“Fuck,” John breathes out. “No, you wouldn’t have.”
“Well, maybe not,” Hal admits casually, and then just as casually places his hand on John's thigh, fingers rubbing against the inseam. A question, waiting for an answer. “I am now though.”
