"Would you tell me if you started cutting again?" The question slipped from Neil's mouth.
He hadn't intended to have this conversation, not yet — maybe not ever. But, like always, his damn mouth had a mind of its own. It almost surprised him as much as it had Andrew. Sure, Andrew hadn't taken his eyes off the TV, but his entire body stiffened. He'd hit a sore spot, if the shallow rise and fall of Andrew's chest was any indication.
"No."
"Does Betsy know?" Neil asked.
"That I wouldn’t tell you?"
"That you started again."
