Summary
Human au set in London in the 1930s when Fitzrovia was a vibrant Bohemian hub in central London. The area was home to a lively community of impoverished artists, writers, and political activists, who frequently met at the Fitzroy Tavern on Charlotte Street.
After his mother dies, Louis sells up the family home and businesses, and comes to England with his adopted daughter, Claudia. They find themselves taken in by a group of artists, actors, musicians and writers who believe in the pursuit of beauty and pleasure.
Despite reservations, Louis becomes enamoured of their wealthy patron, Lestat de Lioncourt. A flamboyant musician and poet, a tortured soul in need of love but afraid to seek it. Almost as afraid to accept love as Louis is to offer love. Luckily for the pair of them, fate has set each on a course for the other's heart.
Louis meets Lestat in Chapter 2... they are destined to be very good friends (at the very least)

As Daniel looks over the newspaper, he realizes the options are bleak. Dishwasher, retail associate, tax preparer. Each has its perks, like free food, employee discounts at his mom’s favorite store, and– actually he’s not sure what he would gain from helping people do their taxes, he’d probably commit fraud by accident somehow. But each one sounds fucking awful and gets a big fat X drawn overtop it.
It’s not until the word ‘typist’ catches his attention that he finally circles a job before his arm can start to feel heavy and useless. If Daniel was paying attention, he would’ve seen SECRETARY plastered above it.

Summary
Madeleine's gaze was full of an intensity that never been directed at Claudia before. It was, however, a look that was intimately familiar to her. It was a look that was typically reserved for the men in her life; the look Lestat gave to Louis to get him to forgive him after a fight. To her horror, it had often worked. It was the look that was plastered across Louis' face right after he met Armand, even though he swore that he was going prioritize Claudia now that Lestat was gone. If she wasn't mistaken, and god she hoped she wasn't, Madeleine's look was one of wanting.
Or: Claudia and Madeleine do more than just talk.
