Draxum's cheeks turned a bright pink from shame when he admitted: "As of yet your family are unaware of your untimely demise."
A flash of blue ignited in the darkness, sparked from Leo's rage flaring up when he aggressively accused: "You didn't TELL them!!?"
"I..." before Barry had a chance to respond, the enraged slider demanded in no uncertain terms: "TELL them TO-NIGHT!!!" Then he was gone - leaving to spend as much time with his family as possible before sunrise came to force him back to that lonely place of Limbo.

Leo died, his family doesn't know yet, and he can only interact with Draxum. All this changes when a Bringer of Death extends an invitation to join his kind, promising Leo will be able to return to earth with his family . . . but as a vampire.

Hidden behind unauthorized infrastructure, a red-eared slider watched the horrors of a forbidden entity unfold before his family and New York. A part of him died along with the lingering hope he so desperately latched onto.
It's practically common sense how impossible it is to not get swept away into self-blaming. But two can play the game, and Leo was going for gold.
