Dani has been dodging Jorge’s calls.
So obviously, the only possible next step was to get Dani’s attention in a more direct way. A way that could not be ignored, or misconstrued, or misinterpreted somehow. Jorge needed to do something so dramatic and over-extravagant that Dani was compelled to accept Jorge as a permanent part of his life.
