Summary
Swathed in moonlight, Melinoë dreams.
She was running through gilded halls, the high, swooping ceilings blocking out the starry sky she was accustomed to. The walls were crafted in red and gold, encrusted with rubies and gems that twinkled in the fire of the lamps. They were very pretty, but made a poor imitation of the ornate blanket of the night. Melinoë saw no windows, no skylights, so it appeared Selene’s light couldn't reach her here. The thought troubled her. It’s just a dream Melinoë, when you wake the moon will be waiting for you as she always is.

Summary
The only indication of a celibate night are the clothes on his back and an empty ashtray that seems to glisten against the natural light’s glare.
Yet there’s a filth that clings to his anatomy. The sort that never leaves, no matter how many rashes he accrews when scrubbing. Perhaps he’s more likely to become one giant rash, angry and blistering before he ever feels clean again.
