    Nowadays, I fear greatly that my time is coming to a close. I want to live. Selfish as it is, with everything I've done, I want to live. Each time I put on my hat and your ribbon sways in the wind behind me, I am reminded of this: I want to live, I want to live, I want to live.

    However, hope is a dangerous thing, and I am afraid to feed it further. If I am to really leave this world, I hope this journal can at least become an answer to the many questions that have accumulated in your mind for years, and perhaps soothe your heart a little, which I've torn asunder from breaking it over and over.

    There is a journal Qifrey keeps to record every memory he had to take away, because he too, sometimes forgets. The time to share it with Olruggio finally comes.
