Summary

What happens when you put a depressed trucker and a down on her luck prostitute in a semi truck together and send them back to New York? You get a love story.

Summary
I very obviously suck at writing summaries, so I thought best to just divulge what this is, since it's mostly a side project and whatevs.
Stan and Reader have finally gotten into a solid routine 8 years after... the incident. The Murder Hut was doing great, Stan cut his hair, not great, and the portal was very very slowly coming along. Also not great.
But, by some freak accident, you and Stan wake up 21 years in the future, and with the responsibility of kids added to the mix, you and Stan are a little unsure. Can you both keep the now named Mystery Shack afloat in place of your older counterparts? Can you keep secrets long held? And even more importantly, can you care for these kids?
This fic was very loosely inspired by GlassBugs' 'For Years, Or For Hours'. It's super good and a lot more gritty than this fluff fest, so be sure to check it out!

But before you could shut the door, his hand shot out to stop it.
Confused, your gaze flickered upwards to meet his through the gap. “Ford?”
