The stranger made a noise of contemplation in his throat, his eyebrows pulling together as he listened to the other Dom.
“Our in-house therapist got him pretty sub-y for your first meeting,” the Dom continued. “So he won’t have a lot to say, but we’ve found that this is the best way to introduce Littles and other subs to a new dynamic.”
The stranger’s eyes immediately softened.
”Well,” he said, offering a hand to Pup. “It is a pleasure to meet you.”

Jayce stares at him, silent. Then, without thinking, he spits in the demon’s face.
“Fuck your balance.”
The Greater Demon does not react. Jayce’s stomach tightens. It had been pure impulse—his usual reflex when cornered, when overpowered. But he’s forgotten what he’s dealing with. The Greater Demon could probably make him evaporate on the spot if he willed it.
Calmly, Viktor wipes the spit away with his free hand, his expression unchanged.
“You are… intriguing,” he says. “More than most. So I will make you an offer.”
Jayce looks at him, dubiety evident in his eyes.
“A deal?”
“Not quite,” the demon says. “A game.”
