Summary
Wade’s hurt bad. The disturbing trail of blood he left in his wake when Peter carried him through the safe-house was indication enough, but now that he has a good look at him Peter can see that Wade has gashes and tears on almost every single inch of his body. The blood loss is so bad it's at the point where Peter can’t even tell where the red of Wade’s blood ends and where his suit begins.
Or: Peter patches him up.

"Uhm, you're not supposed to be here, sir," Peter whispered politely, a little awkward with the situation. He didn't think he'd be able to be awkward anymore. In all of his years as Spider-Man, he's never had to advise a guy not to help him because normal civilians just hide. But this guy seemed like everything but normal. The guy was in full combat gear. Red and black suit with a belt. He was big. Like, really burly. Peter could see katana ends poking out from his harness and some guns strapped to his side.
Seriously, who is this guy?
"Oh, sweetheart. Don't worry, I can handle myself," the guy in the red mask answered, and Peter could see a sultry grin even under his mask. Sweetheart? What? "The name is Deadpool. You know, the 'Merc with a Mouth' and all. I'm a huge fan of your work, by the way."

After the events of BND, Peter is dealing with new spider-bite stuff and meets a guy known as "Deadpool" at a robbery. He ends up tagging along in one of Deadpool's mercenary missions, hoping to get some information about who this new guy is. It was supposed to be just their usual patrol, Spider-Man and Deadpool, protecting the streets of New York. Working together to keep people safe, to allow for the police and courts to deal with the criminals. But when Peter’s mutating powers get in the way and cause him to get injured, who will be there to take care of him? (Hint: it’s a certain masked mercenary.)

Summary
Spider-Man has three fundamental rules. Always get back up, never kill, and keep his identity a secret to protect the people he loves. Through blood, sweat, and tears, he's upheld these rules for years now, despite the suffering it forces him to endure.
Despite this, though, he's still a person. One who isn't invulnerable, one who can't always save everyone, and one who can't always hide who he is. He's not perfect, no matter how hard he tries to be.
So, when he accidentally kills Green Goblin, he's heartbroken. He doesn't know what to do with yet another life lost to his imperfection.
Luckily, a certain Merc with the Mouth — that he's come to know as the closest friend he's ever had, despite said friend knowing nothing about him other than his hero persona — is there to help him.
At least, until he's hired to kill Peter Parker: Spidey's cute photographer. Then, all bets are off.

He launched himself at Wade, wrapping both his arms and legs around his torso and subconsciously spider-sticking. He’d lost enough tonight. He didn’t want to lose Wade, too.
