When would you like to be reborn into the world of Naruto? Your answer could be within the show or manga, so you could live and train with your favorite characters, or have the same answer as Sayuri and choose the sacred period between the end of Naruto and the beginning of Boruto so you didn't had to deal with genocidal maniacs or godly beings that also want to commit genocide and enjoy the slow life.
Bad news for Sayuri that she was born in the warring states period into a clan with sticks up their asses. To make matters worse, she doesn't have a clue how early she is compared to canon. There's no Madara, or even his father Tajima, in sight. For all she knows she could be in the period where the Uchiha were using and abusing the Izanagi. It wasn't a great time for any uchiha with their wellbeing in mind.
Hence her brilliant idea to fake her own death and run away, avoiding this whole mess of a family altogether. Now she just needs a goal to keep her sane. Saving enough to buy a house seems to be a good one.
