The permit office is incredibly boring.
Except for right now due to the guy that just was thrown through the window.
"You better clean that up," he muttered tiredly, gazing down at the crumpled, but breathing, villain that a hero so helpfully tossed through glass onto his freshly cleaned tiles. The villain, one Grian doesn't care for nor does he even try to recognize, grumbles some apologies before hopping back up onto his feet and dashing behind the counter.
What?
The villain is way too tall to be crouched below the desk beside Grian, not to mention should be smarter than to just hide in a government facility. Sure, it's not run by someone who really cared, but this villain doesn't know that!
"Excuse me, but--""Shhh! I'm not here!" The villain stage-whispered to Grian, and with a sigh, Grian goes back to playing League of Legends on the government-given computer provided to him.

Grian used to be a supervillain, the most evil of them all one could say. Until he got caught and the stupid justice system decided his punishment should be running the permit office for the heroes without any real responsibilities as some sort of rehabilition program.

Grian raised a brow. “Is something the matter?”
At the sound of his voice, a small change crossed Scar’s face. He relaxed a bit, mouth pulling into a polite smile. “Well, if a good kisser is all you need,” Scar said. “I’ve never gotten any complaints.”

His suit is suddenly too tight for his body, leaving him trapped to try and catch his breath.
It was unbelievable.
Impossible.
Because on Cuteguy's finger, laid a very familiar rock. A stone he had spent months picking out, inspecting, and hiding — and just last weekend, used to propose.

It’s almost too easy. He would just have to get back up the ladder and retrieve the small maroon box hidden in a chest beneath his bed. The ring had been done for days, gold and copper woven together tightly with an emerald sitting on top. It’s beautiful, and Scar knows Grian would like it.
The moment is perfect. He feels warm and Grian is trembling softly against him. It’s just them, together, so close. All he has to do is get the ring.He hesitates.
Jellie scratches Scar’s leg.
Grian starts laughing as Scar groans against him in pain, all while Jellie whines for attention, already drawing back her paw for another attack.
Tomorrow, Scar thinks. Tomorrow.
