Summary
Following a car crash, Julian Pankratz is returned to his parents after over a decade of being missing -- but without his memories . As he pieces his life back together, he chooses the name 'Jaskier' for himself. He is perfectly content to pursue a PhD in the music of the great bard Dandelion, until the White Wolf himself stumbles into his life and stays there. Before long, Jaskier has a new question to ask himself: is he Julian Pankratz, or is he someone or something much, much older?
Geralt hummed an affirmative sound. His eyes bore into Jaskier's, and he could not help but feel as if his every last movement was being observed and catalogued for later examination. Without blinking, he said,"Dandelion was my husband."
The words hit somewhere deep within Jaskier and rattled around inside his chest. His eyes widened. A peculiar ache swelled in his heart, only to be washed away by a flood of excitement.
"Of course. That explains everything," he breathed.

Summary
Geralt has been called many things in his long lifetime and most of which are meant as insults or a way to describe how horrid he was. The most popular moniker nowadays seems to be ‘Hades’ or ‘Witcher’.
He is the god of death and supposedly had no interest in human affairs.
Everything changed when a man named Jaskier is sacrificed to Geralt in order for the Lord of Redania to achieve his wish for glory and power. Needless to say, everything came tumbling to its right place after that.
[aka. In which the god of death (Geralt) unwillingly receives a sacrifice (Jaskier) and doesn't know what to do with a mortal bard...so he falls in love with him.]

It might have taken him long to get here but one thing is for sure. Despite the hardships and the pain, he knows. It was all worth it.Or as he is facing what could very well be his last moment, Jaskier thinks back on his life and his journey through self discovery

Summary
I read the Witcher books, and Geralt is a sensitive boi about the whole mutant thing. Multiple times he mutters to himself about how THoSe PeoPLE don't think he has FeElings.
So I just really think he'd be charmed as hell by Netflix Jaskier. It would be big 'I've had him for a day and a half and if anything happened to him I'd kill everyone in this tavern and then myself' energy.
So I imagined what would happen if Book Geralt met Netflix Jaskier that day at that tavern in Posada. (Spoiler he loves him.)

Summary
They say cats have nine lives, but truthfully Jaskier has long lost count of his.
Jaskier has always been very good at playing pretend. It gets harder after Geralt’s harsh words on the mountain. It gets harder still when he has to save a rogue Wolf and his Child Surprise from Nilfgaard’s gathering forces.
