Summary
Warm hands cupped his face with a tenderness that made his chest ache. A thumb brushed away tears Scott hadn't realized were falling.
"You've always been stronger than me."
Scott shook his head.
"Don't..." Scott's voice cracked, his hands refusing to let go even as the world around them came apart. "Please... don't leave me."
"You'll keep going."
"I don't want to."
"It's okay."
His fingers trembled as they brushed Scott's cheek, memorizing a face he knew he was running out of time to see.
"Look at me," he whispered.
Scott couldn't.
He rested their foreheads together, closed his eyes, and smiled anyway.
"If this world gives us another chance..."
A trembling breath.
"I'd choose you again."

Summary
Long ago, the gods gifted the dragons five artifacts to sustain life in their isolated wasteland. One day someone steals one of them, endangering the dragons. An elven alchemist referred to as Pidge, an instinctual dragon named Keith, an adventurous Nalquadi called Lance, and a kind human named Hunk band together as an unlikely group to protect the stolen artifact in order to return it to the dragons. However, the greed of others follow as a powerful shifter and shadow elf trail after them, aiming to collect the artifact at any cost.

About the story, basically Allura is being kidnapped by the Galra and Lance goes out to rescue her. Along the way he meets a fiery red dragon and some weird humans. Even thougt the elders send him off with good advices Lance wouldnt be Lance if he didn't ignore all of them. Never make friends, don't approach humans, don't fall in love ... yeah who cares, right?
