This year, we are expecting you to take on some more responsibilities to help with Drake Industries. There are certain people who we have business dealings with, who have asked for a little … extra. To sweeten the deal.”
Tim swallows, suddenly feeling cold. “And the extra… involves me?” Mother can’t possibly be hinting at what he thinks she’s hinting at.
