Luke knelt in front of him.
“Hey, it’s ok if you’re scared.” he kept his smile as soft as he could “It’s a big day, and it can be very frightening.”
The kid just shrugged, still not looking at him.
“But I’ll be with you all the way, ok?”
Finally, brown eyes met blue ones.
Holding tears, Grogu nodded. His little hands made the gesture for ‘thank you’ in sign language.
