    With Ho Yuwon gone and Cheong Dalle in hiding, Daydream was just about ready to promote the most competent person they could find to keep HQ running. So imagine their surprise when they found a legendary rookie slaving away in one of their branch offices. They promoted him right away and dragged him (willingly) to Seoul.

    Fast forward to six months later, and it was no secret that Director Kim managed most of the Darkness-related departments in the main office. He was a little overworked, but that was okay. Kim Soleum had a goal and he needed the resources Daydream had been giving him to accomplish it. He absolutely couldn’t leave until then. I repeat: he did NOT need to be rescued.

    It still won’t stop a certain agent from trying.

    Sometimes, you had to take control of the situation with an iron grip to survive. To allow more people to live, too.

    So what if he looked crazy doing it?!

    In fact, please, think of him as crazy!

    What does a shaman, a government agent, and a corporate employee have in common?

    Absolute disaster.

    One is forced, the other is trying to help people, and the last one is very questionable.

    Kim Soleum on the other hand just looks up at the sky and asked to every divine deity that is listening on what he had done wrong to deserve this? That's when he remembered what his Grandma had said to him in the hospital.

    "Our Soleum-ah." His Grandma fondly spoke, caressing her grandson's hair. "You should become a Baksu after this."

    "...."

    Grandma what the fuck?
