Speaking of tea, when Kokichi pushes open the door to the dining hall, Sayaka breathes in to the strong smell of hibiscus tea. She smiles automatically as she comes over to take her usual spot where Sonia and Kokichi have already set up biscuits and a tea set, as well as a large pile of flowers off to one side. There are unfinished flower crowns in front of both Sonia and Kokichi’s places, so Sayaka reaches out to start one of her own as Sonia comes over with a teapot held carefully in both hands.
“Maizono-san!” Sonia exclaims, eyes alight. Despite her excitement, she moves with utmost grace, stopping in front of her seat to pour them each a cup of steaming scarlet liquid. The smell is mild, but sweet and familiar, and Sayaka breathes it in, allowing some of the tension to seep from her shoulders. Kokichi always makes fun of her for stiffening up while she’s writing songs, but she can’t help it. It’s all so life or death, her idol work is. One bad song could result in her popularity taking a massive hit. She has to take it seriously. Kokichi just doesn’t get it.
…Still, it’s nice to get to relax once in a while.

"There's no need," Byakuya declares suddenly, voice hoarse and breathy but undeniably commanding. He takes his hand off the pod, then rises to his full height. His face betrays no fatigue or discomfort, even though his legs are shaking beneath him, and he addresses the small group before him with the dignity of a king addressing his people. "I don't need assistance from commoners. I...am Byakuya Togami, after all."
Byakuya's prideful declaration settles on the room. An uncomfortable silence follows it.
"Yeah, we kinda already met the real Byakuya," Fuyuhiko says, scratching the back of his head.

Byakuya Togami is the first to awaken from the simulation. He's a little different than Hajime remembers him.
