"Fighting is better than fucking, if you do it right.
See, that’s what I thought, when I was still deluding myself into the likeness of adjustment, the warmth of assimilation, where only cruelty felt flushed and consoling. That’s what I wanted to make myself believe, like all those people who go to church every Sunday and sit in worn down pews that make your ass hurt and who nod when the man at the front proclaims that heaven is just a step away, the true place of harmony and reconciliation when you ascend your earthly body and enter into the beautiful gates of heaven. I wanted to believe that the only touch I needed was the hard collision of knuckles into my jawbone and a leather boot in my side when I was down, which I almost inevitably was. I made myself believe that blood and chipped teeth and splattered floors were all that I needed to feel alive, to feel like an electric socket blown into my brain. That fight club was enough for all the ways my body craved to be touched."or, the narrator needs something stronger than fight club to sleep again. cue tyler durden's insatiable appetite.

Tyler knows exactly how hard and where. Knows which hits sharpen and which ones just hurt. I know this about Tyler the way I know the soap formula, the way I know the exits of every building I've ever been in.
I know it without knowing how I know it.

Summary
It was getting pretty late, my shift was coming to an end, I knew I would be left alone from now on. The lack of proper sleep always hits me like a truck in those moments, and I start missing the feeling of the noisy springs of my mattress on my back. I went into one of the back rooms and sat between an empty bucket and some cardboard boxes to enjoy my well earned cigarette break. I could feel my eyes getting heavier with every new puff of smoke I took. My mind wandered far away from this place as Morpheus wrapped his arms around me against my will. My accidental nap was suddenly interrupted by Tyler slamming the door open, making my heart skip a few beats.
“Oh, here you are! I've been looking for you everywhere.” His stupid smile was wide, and his tuxedo wasn’t as well presented as it was when I helped him put it on earlier that evening.
The Narrator and Tyler take a break together in the tiny storage room of the Pressman Hotel...

Summary
“We’ve been over this before, and we’ve made it clear that speaking to students the way you do…” The principal’s voice trailed off. Mori was sitting directly in front of his superiors desk while being scolded for the third time that month—this whole charade had become routine for the teacher. He knew his behavior and language was inappropriate, he knew he shouldn’t make the comments he did, but why would he give up on the fun when he had only ever been verbally reprimanded? “We’ve decided to put you on temporary unpaid leave.” The superior mentioned (which had been the only thing Mori actually comprehended).
Mori is sent on temporary leave due to inappropriate behavior with students, and he just so happens to run into one of those students one the way home.

“Think about it… You're in a big media scandal… So am I. You are the Chuuya Nakahara, I'm the Osamu Dazai. If I start dating and the relationship lasts over 12 weeks then the media will be happy. If you start dating me then that'll be crazy enough for the media to ease the attention off of the Black Lizard’s break up. If you think about it, it's a win-win” Dazai finishes with a straight face.
Chuuya has to take a few minutes to process all the information. As much as he wants to complain and retort, it's actually a good move…

Summary
Ivan had never experienced love before. Usually, his crushes were short and fleeting, but with Till… It was different.
Ivan thought throughout his entire life, his sister would be the only person to truly understand him. But when Till came along, he made Ivan feel new to the language that made up his entire being. Like translating text over and finding nuances to words you never would have known beforehand. Until someone took a close look at you and appreciated you in full.
After only a few months together, Ivan doesn’t remember where he began or where Till ended anymore. They were emulsified.
Everyone thinks Till and Ivan are dating, which is impossible when Till is in love with Mizi. Hijinks Ensue.
